What makes you better? or different? or will you just be another one of the same basic concept of KS campaigns?

We have a different structural design- a clean, minimalist design - with a nice finish aluminum casing- as most creators are using plastic for their case designs. We’re using chip-set CSR63120, and the latest Bluetooth V4.2. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:32 am EST

As the microphone is on the outside, how do you handle outside noise? Is there noise reduction?

Our chip-set has CVC noise reduction technology. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:37 am EST

Do you have an actual IP rating for water/dust resistance

We don’t have an IP rating yet Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:37 am EST

Do we need to line up the connector for the earbud to connect to the case? It might be difficult to do it in the dark? Does it auto align itself?

The buds have a set position that snap onto the case, they will snap in and lock in place once aligned. It’s easy to do, even in the dark. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:37 am EST

Does it come with wall adapter? Can we just use any adapter?

Jive TWS does not come with a wall adapter, only charging cable. You can use a power adapter to charge the case, as the USB port can support 2.1A or 1.1A; the smart IC protects the power input. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:37 am EST

If the magnetic connectors hold it in place, how do we pop them out? Is there a finger slot? Do we just shake the case hard to pop them loose?

Simply use your fingers to pull the bud off from the case. You can see the video we shot that shows how the bud snaps on to the case (see the prototype resource section we’ve included in a link at the bottom on our KS page.) We will also shoot a new video of this soon to show backers more closely in an update. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:38 am EST

Have you measured the latency between buds?

We have not yet measured the latency between earbuds in a certified study yet. Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:39 am EST

Is the Bluetooth version 4.0 or 4.2

We are using the latest Bluetooth V4.2 Last updated: Sat, Nov 12 2016 10:40 am EST

How long the battery lasts?

The buds can play for 2-hours continous play per charge. Using the case they can charge three times for a total of 6 hours of use. If using middle or lower volume, they can last a maximum of 8 hours of use. Last updated: Sun, Nov 20 2016 10:35 pm EST

Do you have plan to add other color?

In the future, we hope to release other color options Last updated: Sun, Nov 13 2016 11:07 pm EST

Can I change my pledge to a higher reward?

You can always change your pledge to higher reward. Just click the blue “Manage” button that appears next to the current pledge amount then select “Change your pledge”. From there, you will be able to adjust your pledge amount and your pledge will update automatically. Last updated: Wed, Nov 16 2016 7:10 am EST

Can we use one bud at a time?

You can use just one bud (as a headset) and charge the other bud at the same time. Either of the buds can serve as the master, depending on which one you pair with the Bluetooth settings first. Last updated: Sun, Nov 20 2016 10:35 pm EST

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
